My Why
I really do understand how difficult and soul destroying unsuccessful dieting can be. When I overcame my own issues, finally got a body that I was proud of (for the first time!) and felt like I’d found peace and balance with food… I knew I had to share my experience and use it to help others. And here I am…
My story
With 10 years of yoyo dieting experience and almost a lifetime of disordered eating, body dysmorphia and low self esteem, I know the exact struggles of a typical yo-yo dieter.
I also struggled with exercise - I’d spend hours on the cardio machines in the gym to ‘punish’ myself for the calories I’d eaten previously and I hated every second of it.
It wasn’t until I educated myself on exercising the right way, so I felt motivated and energised, that I was able to create a healthy relationship with exercise and achieve the body I always wanted. Turns out… exercising as a punishment always added to the hatred I had for my body (it never helped!)
I’ve made a lot of mistakes along the way and tried every fad diet or quick-fix exercise plan. Chances are if you’ve tried it - so have I.
Food freedom, training for enjoyment and longevity of results have always been at the forefront of my coaching. It’s designed to help you lose weight and keep it off in the most effective and efficient way possible, with sustainability in mind.
I’ve been there and done that with most fad diets and silly exercise programmes. I understand the struggles you face both physically and mentally. I encourage your struggles to come to the surface so we can understand them, learn from them and know how to manage them going forward - this is the key to long term success.
I won’t tell you to do something without telling you why - I want you to have the tools to be your own coach by the time we finish working together. Life is too short to be dieting or working with a professional forever. My business model is based around referrals from happy clients - not keeping the same clients in the business forever.
